TiviMate is a well-liked media player, but it is built for Android TV and Fire TV — it does not run on a Samsung, an LG or an Apple TV. If that is the television you own, eKoPlayer is the same idea in a form that fits it: a media player that takes a playlist you already have and plays it on the set itself.
An M3U or M3U8 address, or an Xtream server. Neither player supplies content; both play what you already have.

Android TV and Fire TV. On a Samsung or LG you would need to buy and plug in a separate Android box or stick, because the app does not install on those televisions.

Yes. eKoPlayer takes the same M3U or Xtream details and the same XMLTV guide address. There is nothing to convert.
No. Like any player of this kind it is empty until you add your own playlist. We do not supply, host, resell or index any content.
