This site sets nothing on your device until you say so. Measurement is off by default, declining changes nothing about how the site works, and you can change your mind at any time from the link at the bottom of this page.
Exception: every page loads the Meta Pixel straight away — see section 3.
Strictly necessary only. Cloudflare, which hosts and protects this site, may set a cookie of its own when it needs to challenge suspicious traffic — that is a security measure and cannot be switched off without switching off the protection. The activation page loads Cloudflare Turnstile, which tells a person from a script before we look a device up; it stores what it needs to do that and nothing that follows you to another site.
Your choice about the section below is itself remembered, on your device, so that we do not ask again on every page. That is the only thing this site stores of its own accord.
If you agree, we load Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager. It tells us how many people visit, which pages they read and which they leave — the questions any small company has about whether its own writing is any use. Google sets cookies to do it, and those cookies can tell a returning visitor from a new one.
What we do NOT do with it:
Google processes this data as our processor and may do so outside your country. If you would rather not, decline — or use Google's own opt-out add-on, which works across every site.
Every page of this site loads the Meta Pixel
(connect.facebook.net) when you open it. This does not depend on the choice
above, which covers Google Analytics only. It tells Meta that your browser visited a
page, so that we can see whether our Meta adverts lead anyone to install the app and show
them to similar people. Meta sets cookies to do this and processes the data under its own terms.
The app does not contain it, and nothing about what you watch is sent, because the site cannot see it.
To switch it off: use Meta's own ad preferences, your browser's tracking protection, or a content blocker. Declining the banner does not stop it.
Review your choice. Clearing your browser's storage for this site also resets it, and you will be asked again on your next visit.
None of this applies inside eKoPlayer. The app contains no analytics library, no advertising identifier and no third-party tracker, and there is no code path by which it could acquire one — that is enforced by tests. See the privacy policy.
